About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source prospective partners, including licensees, retailers, brand partners, collaboration partners, and promotional partners
- Conduct due diligence and analyze markets, categories, proposals, business plans, and financial impact
- Procure qualified licensees, focusing on US and UK priority markets
- Analyze existing licensees, including proposals, category extensions, sales, annual business plans, and marketing plans
- Contact major retailers and build relationships to develop cross-category programs
- Prepare annual and quarterly financial reports and measure financial figures
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners on integrated, multi-platform marketing, retail, promotional, and event plans
- Communicate with signed licensees regarding product development, retail development, marketing, royalty reporting, contract negotiation, promotional planning, and issue resolution
- Build and update sales tools, including presentations, video content, and licensee lists
- Design and maintain trend guides across Rebellion IPs with stakeholders and external agencies
- Attend and manage global trade shows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in IP management, managing a portfolio of brands across contract negotiation, financial reporting, product development, marketing, and retail planning
- Expertise in developing brand plans with a commercial and strategic direction
- Solid understanding of the retail market, including physical and digital trends, channels, seasonality, and buying cycles
- Strong relationships with licensees, retailers, and brand partners globally
- Presentation skills, both creation and delivery, internally and externally
- Licensing industry knowledge and connections
- Skilled in negotiation and contract management
- Permanent right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship
