About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead selected strategic, cross-functional innovation and maintenance projects across the consumer healthcare portfolio
  • Lead new product development, product renovation, packaging changes, new claims, visual brand upgrades and key process improvements
  • Partner with Marketing and Category teams to translate brand strategy and business objectives into project scope, strategy, delivery plans and decision roadmaps
  • Build and mobilize cross-functional project teams, clarifying roles, deliverables, dependencies and resource requirements
  • Develop and maintain integrated project timelines in the portfolio and project management system
  • Drive timely decision-making, stakeholder communication and execution discipline across the project lifecycle
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, resources, budget, KPIs and governance
  • Monitor milestones, budget and spend forecasts, escalating material variances through governance processes
  • Co-drive gate readiness and document decisions and agreed actions
  • Maintain accurate project information and support portfolio analysis and probability-of-success assessments
  • Coordinate country-level launch details with General Managers and local stakeholders in selected markets
  • Capture and share lessons learned and contribute to innovation process improvements, ideation and project management capability building
  • Foster accountability, inclusion, teamwork and recognition
  • Influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Resolve team conflicts and mentor junior colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience across Project Management, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Strategy or R&D in consumer healthcare or a related industry such as consumer-packaged goods or pharmaceuticals
  • Practical experience leading cross-functional projects in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical, insight generation, strategic planning, risk management and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in situations characterized by ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence without authority
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Preferred: project management experience within cosmetic, food, consumer goods or similar project environments
  • Preferred: experience with stage-gate governance, new product development, product renovation or market launch execution
  • Preferred: working knowledge of key business processes and functions of a multinational healthcare or consumer goods company
  • Preferred: experience using portfolio and project management systems to manage timelines, milestones, risks and project data
  • Preferred: project management certification or formal training
  • Preferred: professional proficiency in Spanish, English and/or Portuguese
