About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop new features for BlueSpice, both on-premise and in the cloud
Continuously improve the product in collaboration with colleagues
Create customer-specific customizations
Discuss requirements, designs, and deliverables with customers
Support troubleshooting, bug fixes, documentation, and testing
Develop web-based applications to further advance the enterprise wiki software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience designing and developing web-based applications
Excellent knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Vue.js
Knowledge of object-oriented patterns, interfaces, the PSR-4 standard, SOA, and clean code principles
Familiarity with Composer, Webpack, Storybook, CI/CD, and Docker
Experience with PHPUnit
Experience with Webdriver-based end-to-end testing
Analytical mindset, along with a self-directed, conscientious, and well-organized approach to work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to lead a team
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience with MediaWiki is preferred
A successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field is preferred
