About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead daily operations of the Process Analytics applications team
Allocate work, prioritize support requests, and oversee complex evaluations in Reno territories
Serve as the primary escalation point for applications-related issues
Define, track, and report team effectiveness metrics to the Applications & Tech Support Manager
Maintain and prioritize the applications project and evaluation pipeline with field sales
Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback
Ensure standardized processes, tools, and documentation
Oversee front-line technical support for Hamilton field sales and end users
Coordinate and lead pre-sale end-user training
Manage complex product evaluations and customer presentation data
Coach specialists on data interpretation and presentation
Oversee CRM documentation and active project tracking
Coordinate improvements to analytical tools, workflows, and methods
Monitor literature and trends and share segment insights with leadership and cross-functional teams
Translate market opportunities into application use cases
Oversee technical and marketing content development
Collaborate with Product Management on product roadmap requirements
Manage special projects, milestones, stakeholders, timelines, and reporting
Partner with Product Management and Marketing on launches and initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a field related to biopharmaceuticals or biotechnology (e.g. biochemistry, fermentation science, chemical engineering) required
In-depth knowledge of Process Analytical Tools (PAT) in multiple industries, including biopharma
Ability to effectively manage a cross-functional team with a wide range of competencies and skills
Ability to communicate with multiple departments to maintain effective operations
Ability to convey the big-picture vision of process analytics business development
Five years' experience with managing a cross-functional team and acting as a technical manager preferred
Previous roles in product management, industry segment manager, or business development preferred
Previous sales and marketing experience is an added bonus
Must pass drug and background screens
May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment
