About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate injection molding machines, OEM and third-party automation machines, and associated standalone equipment
Troubleshoot machine errors, identify root causes, and implement resolution actions to reduce machine downtime
Ensure injection molding and automation machines have adequate raw material for continuous operations
Complete daily documentation for activities, downtime tracking, quality-related testing, and shift output efficiency
Perform manual support functions on production lines without fully automated processes
Complete assigned tasks timely and adequately in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and instructional guides
Maintain cleanroom cleanliness according to standards and Hamilton Company procedures
Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work with advanced technology
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly
Strong computer and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Ability to work at a fast pace with urgency
Ability to stand for long periods and ascend and descend ladders
High School diploma or GED required
2 years of experience as a Machine Operator, Process Technician, Production Operator, Automation Technician or related process manufacturing role
Signature Academies and Career & Technical Education (CTE) high school program preferred
Certificate in injection molding, automation, plastics, or related field preferred
Associate degree in industrial technology, mechatronics, or similar field preferred
