About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage efficient logistics operations, including planning, forecasting, purchasing, manufacturing, and product delivery
- Improve, develop, and document processes and procedures
- Support logistics and operations for complex custom customer orders
- Forecast release of duplicate parts and manage forecast risks for custom and third-party devices
- Aid Demand Managers in forecasting and releasing duplicate custom parts
- Plan and schedule parts before purchasing and shop-floor execution to avoid duplicate or incorrect purchases
- Maintain efficient prototype manufacturing to prevent redundant production, incorrect procurement, and excessive lead times
- Interface technically with vendors, purchasing, and APE
- Apply science and technology experience to integrations
- Participate in project teams, including Project Review, Product Launch, and Cost Analysis
- Interact with Sales to provide shipping dates and follow up on order status
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with general supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Query writing in Excel or Access using relational databases
- Project Management experience
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
- APICS and CPIM certifications recommended
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
