Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop software across potentially all architecture layers, from UI to data
  • Develop new features and tools, including design, documentation, implementation, and testing
  • Primarily develop desktop-based applications
  • Design UI layouts and interfaces
  • Make architectural changes as necessary for new features
  • Analyze and resolve software defects
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and disciplines

  • Potentially deploy and support software on standalone robotics platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluency in either C# or C++
  • Understanding of fundamental object-oriented design principles
  • Desire to work in the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, MSSQL, and C#
  • Experience creating and/or maintaining architectural interfaces such as RESTful APIs and WCF contracts
  • Solid SQL database design principles and experience with Entity Framework
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Angular 5+
  • Familiarity with CI/CD build processes and version control, preferably Git
  • Experience with agile development methodologies or frameworks such as SCRUM
  • Ability to analyze and further develop provided requirements
  • Ability to anticipate customer and/or product needs
  • Ability to communicate and interface with other business verticals
  • Ability to work on both individual and team projects
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to use opportunity cost evaluation as part of decision making
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Must pass drug and background screens
  • May be required to wear employer-provided personal protective equipment
