Key responsibilities & impact
  • Interact with robotic platforms to ensure high-quality customer solutions
  • Work closely with developers, testers, marketing, and customers
  • Advocate for software quality and bring quality concerns to the team
  • Help assess the impact of defects
  • Develop test plans, implement tests, and document testing results
  • Build sustainable testing solutions with an automation-first mentality
  • Work on internal tools, device drivers, REST APIs, web-based UIs, and full IDEs as business needs arise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong advocate for quality
  • Technical programming expertise (OOP, Unit testing)
  • Experience designing effective quality strategies
  • Ability to recognize and prioritize work that impacts quality the most
  • API testing experience (Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.)
  • Automated UI testing experience (Cypress, TestComplete, Ranorex, etc.)
  • Manual test execution experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various teams (SW, FW, HW, internal and external customers)
  • Ability to produce test related documentation (test plans, reports, and formalized release documentation)
  • 4-year degree from regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience as a software tester and/or programmer
  • Experience with testing robotic platforms a plus
  • Laboratory experience a plus
