About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own Engagement features end to end across the Rails backend, React web app, React Native mobile app, and Electron desktop apps
Decide with the designer what to build
Prototype, ship with coding agents, and validate work with evidence
Grow the design system and component library with the designer
Make architecture decisions across the stack
Review other people’s work and raise the pod’s quality bar
Work in the Engagement pod owning the web app and mobile and desktop recording apps
Report to Ignasi, the CPTO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full-stack production experience shipping backend and frontend code relied on by real users
Daily use of coding agents; coding agents write all of your code
Personal projects or things built in your own time
At least one shipped cross-platform mobile or desktop app
Experience with a design system or component library
Product judgment and ability to partner with a designer and prototype without waiting for mockups or a PM
Comfort with ambiguity and moving without full specifications
Ability to check quality with evidence rather than reviewing every line
5+ years of experience
Fluent English
Ruby on Rails experience, or solid experience in another server-side framework (nice to have)
Experience with either mobile or desktop development (nice to have, depending on existing experience)
Spanish residency or ability to work as a contractor if based outside Spain within CET ±2 hours; willingness to relocate within CET ±2 hours where applicable
