About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, update, and distribute catalogues and order forms for accounts and Sales Representatives
- Present titles for sell-in to accounts through in-person, Microsoft Teams, and phone appointments
- Perform research and sales analysis, including merchandising tasks such as reports and audits
- Assist with the Seasonal Sales Conference through setup, title presentations, and PowerPoint presentations for Line Managers
- Place orders for accounts, authors, and events
- Complete book mailings for Sales Representatives and Directors
- Assist with account outreach through online research and in-person store visits
- Perform setup, tear-down, and in-person duties for participation at the CGTA Gift & Home Market
- Contribute to sales presentations and attend cross-department meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of university or college education, or possess equivalent/relevant work experience
- Retail and/or selling experience an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with fellow employees
- Self-starter with capacity to work independently
- Applicants must be eligible to work and be paid in Canada
- Familiarity with digital platforms, including social media
- Ability to adopt new software and technologies quickly an asset
- Comfort with standard PC software, including Adobe, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint in particular an asset
