About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead account management and customer acquisition efforts for assigned accounts
  • Drive revenue and EBIT growth across select Americas accounts
  • Identify and pursue new customers by aligning HARMAN technologies with customer needs
  • Deliver tailored value propositions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Program Management, and Marketing teams
  • Develop business cases, respond to RFQs, and deliver proposals, product roadmaps, supply plans, and marketing programs
  • Plan and execute customer business reviews, technology demos, product launches, and co-branding events
  • Support the Sales Director with annual sales goals, sales forecasts, and strategic sales plans
  • Prepare monthly sales performance reports by account and address potential shortfalls
  • Manage customer account receivables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, Software, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B Account Management, Business Development, or Technical Sales
  • Success selling deeply technical solutions to business and engineering audiences
  • Proven track record generating and growing new business in technical B2B markets
  • Experience developing and selling audio systems, DSP, algorithms, SaaP/SaaS, finished goods, hardware, components, and licensing
  • Passion for innovation and creativity; willingness to be hands-on and think outside the box
  • Self-directed with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization across diverse teams, time zones, and cultures
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
