About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary talent acquisition partner for HarperCollins Christian Publishing
  • Support HarperCollins Publishers based on hiring volume and business priorities
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Talent to evaluate hiring processes and integrate best practices across North America
  • Identify talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies and initiatives
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from entry-level to senior-level roles, including sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interviews, offers, and candidate closing
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and provide data-informed recruitment guidance
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, People partners, candidates, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage internship program planning and execution, including group placement, orientation, professional development, networking, and mentoring opportunities
  • Monitor intern performance and collect feedback to improve internship programs
  • Maintain relationships with former interns and develop entry-level talent pipelines
  • Build relationships with local university career centers, student organizations, and diversity organizations
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ICIMS applicant tracking system
  • Develop and analyze recruitment reports and metrics
  • Translate recruitment insights into recommendations and action

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8 years of experience in experienced-hire recruiting, including ownership of full-cycle searches
  • Experience with campus recruitment and internship programs is a plus
  • Experience recruiting for technology roles is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS); preferably ICIMS
  • Excellent communication, consultative relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to translate data and business needs into practical recruitment strategies
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and strategically minded
  • Demonstrated success evaluating processes, improving efficiency, and implementing change in partnership with stakeholders
  • Cover letters are strongly preferred
