About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as HarperCollins Christian Publishing’s lead consultative human resources business partner
  • Shape the division’s people strategy, organization design, and employee relations approach
  • Provide consultative counsel to divisional leaders
  • Translate business priorities into people strategy and organization solutions
  • Advise divisional leadership on business and people priorities
  • Lead organization design, workforce planning, change, and talent strategies
  • Lead complex employee relations, performance, and workplace matters
  • Assess organizational capabilities and strengthen succession pipelines
  • Advance talent development and retention priorities
  • Advise senior leaders on team effectiveness, performance, leadership capability, and organizational health
  • Collaborate across the People Team and broader organization to align divisional needs with enterprise programs, policies, and best practices
  • Report to the SVP, Deputy CHRO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Deep experience in consultative business partnership, employee relations, organization design, scalability, and people strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and build trust with senior leaders
  • Ability to balance business priorities, employee needs, and organizational risk
  • Proven success leading organization change, workforce planning, and talent initiatives in a complex, evolving environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Openness and respect for the organization’s mission, values, and culture
  • Advanced degree or SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred
  • Cover letters strongly preferred
