About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead discovery, demos, pilots, trainings, onboarding, and custom builds alongside Account Executives and Customer Success Managers
Translate private credit investment work into Harvey solutions across the customer lifecycle
Build the private credit playbook, including demo library, workflow templates, and use cases
Run live pilots on credit opportunities
Lead the private credit practice as the team grows
Engage with direct lenders, opportunistic and specialty finance managers, BDC managers, and insurer credit arms throughout pre-sales and post-sales
Guide lenders through AI capabilities
Build screening, underwriting, and credit committee workflows in firms’ templates and formats
Perform lender presentation and CIM review, QoE read-throughs, data pack analysis, cash flow and leverage modeling, sizing and structuring, covenant and credit agreement review, credit memo drafting, and comps
Conduct compliance certificate review, covenant tracking, amendment and waiver analysis, and quarterly portfolio reporting
Bring credit-team feedback into product development and help shape Harvey’s product roadmap
Travel approximately 2–3+ times per month for significant business needs, typically 1–3 days at a time

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years on the investment or underwriting team at a direct lender, private credit fund, BDC manager, or insurer private credit arm
Demonstrated ownership of live deal work including screening, underwriting, diligence workstreams, modeling, structuring, and drafting credit committee materials
Principal-side deal execution required
Strong command of lender presentations, CIMs, QoE and data packs, models, credit agreements, intercreditors, and compliance certificates
Advanced Excel and financial modeling
Comfort with prompting and agentic AI workflows
Executive presence and relationship-building skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Curiosity about AI’s potential to transform investment work
Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results
Python, SQL, or experience building internal tools is a plus
Customer-facing or commercial experience and/or hands-on experience using AI tools in an investment setting are pluses
