About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the systems and workflows powering Harvey's finance organization as it scales globally
Act as product owner for core finance processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report
Run discovery with process owners, define target-state process and system design, own the roadmap, and measure success
Lead complex finance-system problems involving international expansion, entities, currencies, taxes, statutory requirements, pricing, billing, and revenue recognition
Develop and maintain architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem and its data flows
Partner with owners of adjacent enterprise systems, including Workday and Salesforce, on integrations and handoffs
Eliminate manual work by replacing spreadsheets, manual data entry, and email approvals with configuration, automated workflows, and integrations
Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite and related spend and revenue workflows across Zip, Ramp, Brex, and Metronome
Identify, test, and implement practical AI and automation opportunities
Own application quality and lightweight SDLC practices
Set best practices and mentor and support peers across Finance and Business Technology

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of hands-on experience as a finance systems professional
5+ years of direct NetSuite experience
Demonstrated complex NetSuite configuration depth
Experience supporting a global, multi-entity and multi-currency finance organization
Product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance business process area: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and/or record-to-report
Extensive depth in the relevant finance process domain, including discovery, target-state process design, tradeoffs or workarounds, and roadmap ownership through delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Track record of mentoring peers, setting technical standards, or serving as an expert escalation point
Ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems autonomously
Deep understanding of SaaS finance applications and architecture, including automation and AI trends
Direct experience with change management, regression and UAT planning, segregation of duties, and regulatory requirements
Experience with NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome, Workday, and Salesforce finance-system integrations and workflows
