About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write scroll-stopping copy for Harvey's owned channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms
  • Write copy for employee and advocacy channels to amplify company moments
  • Turn launches and announcements into channel-native posts, threads, and replies
  • Work with the Social Manager to plan, draft, and deliver social creative and campaign content
  • Maintain a content calendar balancing planned campaigns and real-time posts
  • Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and mentions across Harvey's channels
  • Build response guidelines, tone standards, and saved replies
  • Establish triage and escalation paths for support, sales, press, partnership, sensitive, and legal matters
  • Moderate social communities and comment sections, handling spam, trolling, and negative sentiment
  • Participate in relevant legal, legal tech, and AI conversations
  • Grow networks of customers, advocates, and creators and highlight approved user-generated content
  • Run social listening for brand mentions, sentiment, competitor activity, and trends
  • Support brand-safety response plans during sensitive or fast-moving moments
  • Track and report content performance and community health metrics
  • Use performance and engagement data to optimize content and responses
  • Share community themes, questions, feedback, and pain points with Marketing, Product, Comms, and Customer Success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years in social content, community management, or a similar role
  • Exceptional short-form writing and editorial judgment
  • Portfolio of content and community engagement that earned attention
  • Hands-on experience managing a brand's social inbox and online communities, including moderation, escalation, and response workflows
  • Knowledge of internet culture, online communities, and content performance
  • Ability to write as the brand and for employees while maintaining a consistent point of view
  • Experience handling DMs, comments, mentions, and difficult or sensitive exchanges
  • Sound judgment regarding confidentiality, customer privacy, and escalation
  • Ability to move quickly on real-time moments while maintaining quality and brand safety
  • Strong organization and follow-through when managing high volumes of conversations and requests
  • Experience with social management, scheduling, and listening tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Brandwatch
  • Ability to use analytics and engagement data
  • Experience collaborating across Marketing, Comms, Customer Success, Sales, and Legal
  • Experience in legal tech, enterprise SaaS, or similar B2B spaces is nice to have
  • Background in copywriting, journalism, or editorial is nice to have
  • Experience building or managing professional, advocacy, creator, or ambassador communities is nice to have
  • Experience supporting crisis or issues management on social is nice to have
  • Interest in AI and responsible communication is nice to have
