About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Scout waste industry events, conferences and regional association meetings
  • Maintain the yearly events calendar
  • Score shows based on audience, ideal-customer fit, cost and past results
  • Decide with leadership which shows are worth attending
  • Register for shows early to secure early-bird pricing and better booth locations
  • Track booth, sponsorship, travel and shipping budgets
  • Coordinate booth gear, shipping and storage through the logistics vendor
  • Book travel and manage show deadlines
  • Prepare pre-event checklists
  • Collaborate with the Multimedia Designer on booth graphics, handouts and presentations
  • Travel to selected U.S. shows
  • Set up and staff booths with the team
  • Book meetings and capture leads
  • Ensure every event lead is entered into HubSpot within 48 hours, tagged with the event and handed to Sales
  • Write post-event results notes covering cost, leads, pipeline and won deals
  • Learn the product and customers, review the 2027 events list and past results, and take over the weekly event scan and logistics vendor relationship
  • Score the 2027 calendar, secure early-bird registrations and prepare for the first 2027 shows
  • Run the events program end to end, including Q1 show execution, lead follow-up and event results reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of experience in event marketing, trade show management, field marketing or event production
  • Excellent written English and strong spoken English
  • Valid U.S. visa or ability to travel to the United States for events several times a year
  • Strong project management skills
  • High attention to detail around registrations, shipping deadlines, travel and budgets
  • Comfort negotiating with organizers and vendors
  • Outgoing, professional presence at a booth
  • Comfort using Notion, Google Workspace, HubSpot and spreadsheets
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Availability during core U.S. business hours
  • Bonus: Experience with B2B or SaaS trade shows in the United States
  • Bonus: Experience in waste, recycling, logistics, transportation, field services or public works
  • Bonus: Experience managing booth shipping and freight vendors
  • Bonus: Experience booking sponsorships or speaking sessions
  • Bonus: Experience measuring event ROI in a CRM
  • Must be based in LATAM, with preference for Argentina or similar U.S.-aligned time zones
