About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Manage general ledger accounts, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and closing procedures
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
- Prepare and submit various tax filings and reports
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA is preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within an agency or media environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
