About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with residential Seattle-area clients through virtual and in-home meetings
- Understand clients’ design preferences, needs, and budgets
- Lead the design process, including mood boards, design concepts, floor plans, and 3D renderings
- Source furniture and decor on Havenly’s platform
- Enable clients to check out with vendor-partner products in one cart
- Build deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
- Focus on client needs and design quality using Havenly’s technology and support services
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university is preferred
- 3+ years of working as an interior designer with your own clients in-person and/or virtually
- Industry-professional presence and confident, knowledgeable, clear communication style
- Comfortable using online technologies to create concept boards, 3D renderings, floorplans, presentations, and communications
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies quickly
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Canva is required
- High degree of passion, drive, and knowledge to achieve creative results
- Small business mindset and ability to drive projects forward and convert designs into sales
- High level of product knowledge across vendors, categories, and price points
- Reliable transportation to and from client meetings
- Personal computer with video conferencing capabilities
- Current Photoshop license or Canva account
- Personal computer with up-to-date macOS Big Sur or Windows 10 or 11
- Must reside in the Seattle, Washington area
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
