Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with residential Chicago-area clients through virtual and in-home meetings to understand their design preferences, needs, and budget
Lead the design process, including development of mood boards, design concepts, floor plans, and 3D renderings
Source furniture and decor on Havenly's platform
Grow deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
Focus on exceeding client needs and creating beautiful designs
Work with clients both virtually and in person

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university is preferred
3+ years of working as an interior designer and with your own clients in-person and/or virtually
Industry-professional presence with confident, knowledgeable, and clear communication
Comfortable using online technologies to create concept boards, 3D renderings, floorplans, presentations, and communications
Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies quickly
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Canva is required
High degree of passion, drive, and knowledge to achieve the best possible creative results
Small business mindset and ability to drive projects forward and convert designs into sales
High level of product knowledge across many vendors, categories, and price points
Reliable transportation to and from client meetings
Personal computer with video conferencing capabilities
Current Photoshop license or Canva account
Reside in the Chicago, Illinois area
Personal computer with up-to-date macOS Big Sur or Windows 10 or 11
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
