About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess how work is performed and prioritize AI opportunities based on hours returned, error reduction, and reach
- Design, build, and ship AI companions, agents, and workflow automations from prototype through production
- Integrate with HubSpot, Microsoft 365, Snowflake, property management and finance platforms, and vendor APIs
- Build on governed data models and the analytics semantic layer
- Maintain reusable patterns, prompts, tools, and evaluation sets
- Own evaluation, monitoring, exception handling, and escalation for production workflows
- Enforce human review for consequential actions involving customers, residents, money, or records of record
- Manage model usage and cost; use source control and pull requests; document solutions
- Maintain an inventory of agents, prompts, and integrations, including ownership and access
- Partner with function leaders to select problems, define success, and verify realized value
- Embed with users, observe adoption and failures, and iterate
- Train users and managers on capabilities, limitations, and escalation
- Follow AI usage policy and intake processes, involving Legal and HR when appropriate
- Implement least-privilege identities and traceable logging for agents and integrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of shipping and supporting software that real users depend on
- Strong Python and SQL; a second language such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Go is welcome
- Frontend ability using React and TypeScript, Streamlit, Power Apps, or embedded tool interfaces
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven integrations, retries, idempotency, and failure handling
- Relational data and data modeling; working knowledge of document or vector stores and caching
- CI/CD, pull-request-based development, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
- Azure cloud experience; AWS or Google Cloud experience translates
- Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or GitHub Copilot
- Hands-on experience putting large language models into production, including prompt design, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and multi-step agent workflows
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, embedding models, vector search, and tool-use standards such as Model Context Protocol
- Direct experience with Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Snowflake Cortex APIs
- Experience designing evaluations, monitoring, and guardrails
- Experience putting an AI workflow into a live business process and describing what broke and what changed
- Ability to map business-user workflows and identify removable steps
- Knowledge of least privilege, secrets management, dedicated service identities, and sensitive data handling
- Clear communication with executives, frontline users, and technical peers
