About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engineer next-generation Video Review solutions across multiple sports disciplines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Video Review components
Participate in field testing and support deployments at live sporting events
Partner with product teams and customers to refine and deliver solutions
Champion high code quality and contribute to continuous improvement
Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural and design decisions
Mentor, support, and line manage engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in modern C++ (ideally up to C++20)
Experience writing multithreaded, performance-optimised code
Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and debugging workflows
Experience with networking, including the TCP/IP stack and streaming protocols, is required
Exposure to cloud technologies or video/audio encoding workflows is a plus
Knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably AWS, is a bonus
Experience with FFmpeg, audio/video processing, or multimedia applications is a bonus
Passion for sport or experience working in high-performance environments is a bonus
Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
