About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Record finance and accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness
Process month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements
Provide business insights based on performance dashboards
Identify and implement process improvements
Plan and organize work methodically according to priorities and deadlines
Ensure timely delivery of financial statements
Maintain strong relationships with respective stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Following a qualification in ACCA or an undergraduate following a finance / business management degree
2-4 years experience in finance, preferably in Australian accounting
Knowledge in Xero and MYOB accounting systems
Conversant with MS Office, especially Excel and Teams
Excellent written and verbal communication in English is a must
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and communicate well with customers
Ability to take ownership of assigned work and work independently
Fast learner who can work with minimum supervision
Team player with a positive attitude
Upholds the highest standards of ethics and can maintain confidentiality
