About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Imaging team across London Bridge Hospital and The Shard Outpatients
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures and services, including breast imaging, women's health, gynaecology and general ultrasound clinics
  • Rotate primarily within the Breast Clinics department operating between 08:00 and 20:00
  • Work closely with Consultants, Radiographers and Nurses
  • Assist during examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and support patients throughout their visit
  • Coordinate appointments and registrations using Meditech
  • Utilise PACS
  • Undertake administrative duties
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience working as a Radiology Department Assistant within a hospital setting
  • Experience supporting women's health and/or breast imaging
  • NVQ Level 3, Care Certificate or equivalent healthcare qualification
  • Adaptability
  • Strong teamwork
