Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with tax, accounting, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional and technical solutions within Holthouse’s Treehouse
Lead requirements gathering, testing, data validation, system conversions, and other implementation activities
Analyze existing tax and accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement
Lead projects and workstreams from planning through implementation, managing priorities, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
Assist in investigating complex data, system, and business-process issues and coordinate solutions across technical and functional teams
Provide leadership and guidance to team members while helping establish scalable processes, documentation, and leading practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial and accounting data and how that data flows through tax, accounting, and reporting processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to build data models and investigate complex data and process issues
Demonstrated experience working with large or complex datasets, including data mapping, reconciliation, validation, and analysis
Highly proficient using Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives from definition through implementation
MS SQL and other programming languages are a plus
