About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and circumstances
- Meet regularly with patients to provide counseling and treatment
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
- Involve and advise family members when appropriate
- Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities
- Collaborate within small clinical teams and consult with clinical leads, Executive Therapists, and Psychiatrists
- Use technology to document sessions and manage patient information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 12 months in a clinical setting after becoming fully licensed
- Master’s Level Degree or higher in a related field (required)
- Full, unencumbered LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or Psychologist license; valid and active license required
- Applicants must be licensed and residing in California
- Associate/intern-level therapists are not being hired
- Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment
- Demonstrated EHR proficiency; familiarity with NextGen highly desirable
- Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues
- Superb organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and families
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
