About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
- Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling and treatment
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
- Involve and advise family members when appropriate
- Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s Level Degree or higher (Required) in related fields
- Full, unencumbered LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPCC or Psychologist license based on office location; valid, active license required
- Minimum of 12 months in a clinical setting after becoming fully licensed
- 2+ years' experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services
- Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
- Experience managing patient data, documenting clinical information, and accessing patient histories
- Strong computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues
- Familiarity with NextGen highly desirable
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
- Superb organizational skills
- Ability to guide, direct, or influence people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and families
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
- Not hiring associate/intern level therapists
