Key responsibilities & impact

Own the patient experience for Headway’s native iOS and Android apps and logged-in web portal
Define the app’s information architecture, navigation, home screen, notifications, and messaging
Make booking, rescheduling, insurance, and session-joining workflows fast and native
Extend the app ecosystem through widgets, Live Activities, voice assistants, health data, and modern sign-in
Make build-vs-buy decisions between platform SDKs and third-party integrations
Launch Headway’s first Android app and establish a path toward platform parity
Audit and improve patient workflows in the logged-in web portal
Define native-versus-web scope feature by feature
Provide a coherent app surface and patterns for partner teams including AI Patient Experience, Search, Profiles, and Visitor Growth
Maintain consistency across features shipped by multiple teams
Own app foundations including reliability, performance, release infrastructure, deep linking, and attribution
Set and measure mobile-care engagement and daily/weekly retention
Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, clinical, and legal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of product management experience
Meaningful experience with native mobile apps, owning engagement and retention
Experience building consumer mobile apps people return to
Understanding of iOS, Android, widgets, Live Activities, health data, and voice assistants
Ability to make build-vs-buy decisions involving native SDKs and third-party platforms
Experience launching on Android, or a clear point of view on launching Android well
Experience auditing user flows and reducing friction
Experience owning a shared platform, app shell, or core experience used by other teams
Ability to define engagement and retention metrics and run experiments
Experience working in high-trust spaces such as healthcare or fintech
Understanding of privacy, consent, and accessibility
Experience partnering with Legal and Clinical teams
Fluency with AI in product work and AI-powered features
Ability to work in the United States
Work authorization in the United States required; Headway participates in E-Verify
