Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in implementation, maintenance and basic analysis of models, studies and systems using actuarial principles
  • Support pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting and other actuarial functions

  • Participate in approximately four hours of virtual programming each month during the six-month program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or another related quantitative field
  • Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Completion of 1 ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) exam equivalent based on specifications in the Society of Actuaries Education and Examination System
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • PC proficiency including Word and Excel
  • Access, SQL, Visual Basic or other programming skills preferred
  • Actuarial internship or actuarial experience in health insurance or related field preferred
