Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, analyze, and implement procedures and processes to ensure accurate claims and enrollment data are submitted to the government
Create reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division
Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs
Provide consultation to users
Lead cross-functional teams to address division issues
Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
Lead functional teams, projects, or decisions to support business needs for reporting and insights
Work with internal and external data
Verify report accuracy and provide insights
Support decision-making and analysis around program and project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting data OR 6 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting data
Experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Teradata or other reporting tools / languages
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal form
Ability to lead projects and junior analysts
Initiative to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions
Ability to work with internal and external data
Ability to verify report accuracy and provide insights
Ability to work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations
Knowledge of project portfolio management and related reporting, and IT operational reporting
Exposure to managing teams operating under a reporting as a service model
Accountability around decision support and analysis around program and project delivery
Advanced SQL programming skills
Advanced experience with Teradata or other database systems
Experience in database design/development, database administration, and business intelligence
Experience in data analysis and analytical reporting
Proficiency with advanced Excel features and techniques; VBA skills desired
Familiarity with agile/scrum or other project methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Ability to communicate ideas and results effectively
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
