About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division
- Create report and analysis specifications based on business needs
- Provide consultation to users and work on cross-functional teams to address divisional issues
- Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
- Perform research and assist in analyzing data related to strategic initiatives and broader research needs
- Interface between the business and divisional data teams to generate actionable tools for analysis and reporting
- Work closely with customers to build relationships
- Develop a deeper understanding of divisional data to meet business needs
- Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide decision-maker insights
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master's degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
- Understanding and high proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources
- Performance excellence in computer languages such as SQL, R, and Python
- Ability to create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
- High degree of business intelligence and understanding of taking a business case from inception to customer or partner execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Experience in the healthcare industry, including payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, or epidemiology
- Experience with version control/collaborative tools such as GitHub
- Experience with data visualization software
