Leverage healthcare industry knowledge, logic, and critical thinking to support business stakeholders
Gather requirements based on business needs or data availability
Conduct research and provide analytical support, technical acumen, consultancy, and advisory services
Apply analytical concepts and tools to support and enhance engagements with internal and external customers
Handle moderately complex analytical problems using internal and external data sources to provide decision-making insights
Execute tasks according to established guidelines and contribute to team objectives
Design and maintain data layers, follow design standards, and document organizational use cases
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and analyze data
Deliver actionable insights
Provide healthcare consulting expertise focused on data visualization, data warehousing, industry-specific data, and related datasets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
Highly proficient at querying internal and external data sources
Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python
Ability to create dynamic dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
Strong business intelligence and ability to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to champion initiatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Experience with project management methodologies preferred
Healthcare industry experience preferred, including payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, or epidemiology
Experience with version control/collaborative tools such as GitHub preferred
Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx preferred
Ability to switch between multiple tasks and priorities preferred
