Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of experience in managed care sales and/or managed care account management
  • Current, valid State Insurance Agent License
  • Eight years of experience selling group health managed care products and managing or servicing managed care accounts, including major and national accounts
  • One year of management experience within the national or enterprise market in sales or account management, or three years of management experience within the healthcare industry
  • Experience managing a book of business with accountability for profitability and client retention
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including expertise in account management, marketing strategies, and sales planning
  • Strong knowledge of managed care products, industry trends, operational processes, and market dynamics
  • Experience managing complex group health managed care accounts and executive-level client relationships
  • Proven coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess customer needs, solve problems, and make sound business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, sales, financial, and strategic planning skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience overseeing annual budget development, resource allocation, and operational planning
  • Ability to translate business needs and strategic initiatives into compelling business cases and actionable plans
