About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Sales or Account Management personnel in prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business
- Research, track, and respond to customer, broker, and stakeholder inquiries
- Partner with internal teams to investigate solutions and coordinate account-level projects
- Gather data and create or maintain internal databases
- Coordinate and lead internal and external meetings
- Participate in enrollment meetings and prepare enrollment materials
- Prepare customer documentation and review forms for accuracy and completeness
- Develop relationships with internal partners, external brokers, and clients
- Travel to customer sites or other locations as needed
- Communicate with coworkers, management, customers, and other stakeholders
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program, and other applicable policies
- Maintain confidentiality of company business
- Communicate with management regarding assigned responsibilities and perform special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience as a health care / ancillary product management in a marketing service representative role OR 6 years’ experience combination of sales/marketing/health/ancillary insurance experience involving processing and coordination of services for health care clients
- Must have General Lines Agent – Life, Health State insurance License within required time frame per state regulations
- Organizational and decision making skills
- Written and verbal communication skills, including telephone skills
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts
- PC experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
