About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and manage database assets in cloud environments
- Leverage enterprise automations and monitoring tools
- Customize cloud systems to meet performance, maintenance, and security requirements
- Set up automation for infrastructure-as-code provisioning of Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and related PaaS databases
- Set up standards for automation
- Establish best practices for PaaS database automation
- Work with database Subject Matter Experts to establish database automation standards and provision environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree and 6 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience
- Experience with Azure SQL databases and Azure SQL Managed Instances
- Automation experience with Ansible and Harness
- Experience with As a Service technologies
- Experience with Cloud Orchestration and Management technologies
- Experience with Monitoring and Event Management technologies
- Experience with Automation technologies
- Operations Management experience
- Experience with ITIL v3
- Experience with IT standards, procedures, and policies
- Understanding of business priorities, trends, and markets
- Sponsorship is not available, including for candidates currently on OPT
- Must be able to work remotely within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
