Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in a ten-week internship program focused on supply-chain management and procurement
Assist with applying emerging technologies to develop systems and solutions for clients and members
Work with cross-functional business and technical teams
Learn processes, programs, and technology related to supply-chain management and procurement
Provide project support, administrative assistance, research, analysis, and ad hoc support
Assist with procurement operations projects
Assist with pricing, negotiation, and contract drafting and analysis
Contribute to indirect sourcing and procurement initiatives, supplier management, and process improvement
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies, and other applicable policies
Maintain confidentiality of company business
Communicate with management regarding assigned responsibilities and complete special projects
Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation for department leadership covering the internship experience, project results, solutions, and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access
Effective problem-solving skills, including use of AI and automation to optimize procurement processes and improve efficiency
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with or knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Alteryx, or Python
Successful completion of drug screening may be required
