Leverage strong technical skills and healthcare industry knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders
Provide analytical support and consultancy to internal and external customers
Provide advisory services to internal and external senior leaders
Query internal and external data sources to generate meaningful insights
Create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards
Take business cases from inception through customer or partner execution
Lead analytic initiatives to successful completion
Deliver high-quality analytical outputs to senior leadership for decision-making within short timelines
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to bring initiatives to life

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in those fields OR PhD with 2 years of experience in those fields OR 10 years of experience in those fields
Highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar computer languages
Ability to create dynamic, visually engaging dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
High degree of business intelligence and ability to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution
Experience leading an analytic initiative to success
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to champion initiatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality output to senior leadership within short timelines

Preferred: Healthcare payer, managed care, or Medicare analytics experience
Preferred: Experience with claims, member, and authorization data
Preferred: Advanced SQL and Tableau/Power BI expertise
Preferred: Strong stakeholder partnership, requirements gathering, and consultative skills
Preferred: Proven ability to deliver actionable insights through reporting, dashboards, and presentations
Preferred: Experience supporting Clinical Operations or Utilization Management
