About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the strategy, design, growth, and optimization of Medicare Advantage provider Value-Based Care programs and alternative payment models
Integrate analytical findings, market insights, and business needs to inform VBC program strategy and design
Evaluate program performance and identify strategic enhancements
Develop VBC contracting strategies
Develop VBC contract templates and program documentation
Create executive-ready recommendations and presentations
Independently lead complex workstreams and drive recommendations forward

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations, or relevant health care industry experience
3 years of experience leading large and complex multi-million-dollar projects
Experience communicating with senior management from multiple divisions
Experience developing and delivering presentations
Problem resolution experience and skills
Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
Experience interpreting business and financial information and negotiation skills
Verbal and written communication skills, including establishing working relationships across departments
Experience preparing presentations to senior management and establishing a team environment
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully
PC proficiency, including MS Office products
Relevant Medicare Advantage and/or provider VBC experience
Master’s degree, such as an MBA, MPH, MHA, or related advanced degree (preferred)
Direct experience with Medicare Advantage VBC strategy and alternative payment model design (preferred)
Experience with provider network strategy, provider contracting/value-based contracting, contract development, provider performance, or Medicare Advantage Stars (preferred)
Experience partnering with analytical teams and translating analytical findings into strategic insights and decisions (preferred)
Proven strategic thinking and execution (preferred)
Ability to drive decisions, create optionality, and determine impacts of options (preferred)
