About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with divisional short-term and long-term planning
Assist leadership teams with executing the business plan, strategies, analytics, and data needs for the division and functional areas
Work with matrixed business areas to ensure alignment with divisional strategy
Document and conduct analysis of competitive and market information for the division
Ensure integration of competitive and market analysis with overall strategy
Identify tools to assess and track strategic opportunities
Provide end-to-end report development, interfacing between internal business and technical or analytical teams
Support a governance structure with leadership for evaluating strategic opportunities
Identify opportunities to respond to divisional needs and opportunities while understanding overall HCSC strategy
Interact with team members and others to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, discuss analytic approaches, and share findings
Maintain working knowledge of systems, databases, data-gathering techniques, and analytical interpretations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree and 5 years experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting; OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting; OR 7 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry
Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem solving skills
Strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to accept direction and feedback
Experience with business analytics and information synthesis
Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated organization, prioritization, problem solving, and communication skills
Presentation and group facilitation experience
Experience interacting with staff/management across multiple departments at various levels in the organization
Verbal and written communication skills
PC proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with strong Excel skills
Managed care, payer, or benefit design experience preferred
