Drive cross-functional collaboration supporting Medicare Advantage product and bid strategies
Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the product lifecycle
Evaluate product performance
Conduct competitive and strategic market analysis
Develop innovative product and benefit strategies supporting long-term growth and profitability
Monitor industry trends, Medicare Advantage economic levers, and regulatory requirements
Ensure competitive product positioning and effective bid outcomes
Collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Market teams
Translate business strategy and market insights into actionable product roadmaps, benefit changes, and regional growth initiatives
Oversee successful execution and governance of the bid process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor degree and 7 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 11 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting
Two years’ experience managing and leading teams, including hiring and training staff and managing a departmental budget
Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting or project management
Experience working with corporate leadership, interfacing and communicating at all levels of the organization
Experience managing multiple complex priorities and a heavy workload
Organizational skills and detail-oriented
Verbal and written communication skills

Preferred: Bachelor degree in Business or Health Administration
Preferred: MBA or Masters Degree
Preferred: Health care industry experience
Preferred: 3+ years experience in Medicare Advantage Bid with an understanding of MA economics and bid requirements
Preferred: Proven analytical and strategic abilities in decision making and problem solving
Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder relationships, including influencing decision-making, aligning priorities, and driving execution across multiple teams and organizational levels
Preferred: Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and quality programs, including the relationship between Stars performance, member outcomes, regulatory requirements, quality bonus payments, and product growth strategies
Preferred: Advanced Excel experience necessary
