About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategy, development, and ongoing management of Medicare Part D products
- Coordinate Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) offerings
- Oversee plan design, competitive intelligence, annual bid activities, and bid quality
- Drive cross-functional execution supporting product performance and growth
- Manage and develop a team
- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, operations, and clinical stakeholders
- Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the product lifecycle
- Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and product performance
- Inform strategic planning and support new product development
- Manage a complex Medicare product portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree and 7 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 11 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting
- Two years’ experience managing and leading teams, including hiring and training staff and managing a departmental budget
- Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting or project management
- Experience working with corporate leadership and communicating at all levels of the organization
- Experience managing multiple complex priorities and a heavy workload
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Medicare Part D (PDP/MAPD) and/or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience preferred
- Bachelor degree in Business or Health Administration preferred
- MBA preferred
- Health care industry experience preferred
