About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead large, complex projects or programs with multiple sub-projects
  • Own end-to-end project or program delivery
  • Manage project costs/budget, schedule, dependencies, and scope alignment with business objectives
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of strategic IT projects
  • Build knowledge of IT products and lines of business to assess delivery feasibility and conflicts
  • Set and manage customer expectations
  • Manage and escalate issues and changes
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships in a matrix project environment
  • Drive deliverables and activities with PDL and IT product managers or program managers
  • Remove barriers and escalate risks/issues
  • Apply systems development lifecycle, project management, and enterprise processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor Degree with 5 years project management experience OR 7 years project management experience
  • Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies, including PMI PMBOK
  • Experience delivering and managing large and/or complex projects
  • Understanding of project financial tracking, including monitoring and reporting budget expenditures
  • Experience in negotiations, managing conflict, and organizational/political savvy
  • Verbal and written communication and meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans
  • Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to influence reports, stakeholders, and leaders in a matrix organization
  • Structured, organized, and methodical execution with ownership and accountability for outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel efforts and deliver quality deliverables on schedule
  • Deep interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted relationships
  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception through maintenance
  • Deep understanding of HCSC delivery models: OWF, Scrum, XP
  • Regular in-person attendance at the designated facility
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Health care acumen and HCSC experience preferred
  • Comfort/poise with senior management preferred
  • Leadership skills preferred
  • Knowledge of Clarity PPM and expertise in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project preferred
