About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead large, complex projects or programs with multiple workstreams
Own end-to-end delivery, including scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations
Ensure alignment with business objectives
Partner with Medicare Stars leadership and cross-functional teams across customer experience, pharmacy, clinical, and provider-facing functions
Drive strategic initiatives that improve Stars performance and business outcomes
Design, develop, and implement strategic initiatives
Develop strong stakeholder relationships
Influence matrixed teams, remove barriers, escalate risks, and drive execution
Track project finances, including budget expenditures
Create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans
Manage multiple parallel efforts and deliver quality deliverables on schedule
Communicate effectively on behalf of leadership
Support the software development lifecycle from inception through production deployment and maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree with 5 years project management experience OR 7 years project management experience
Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies, including PMI PMBOK
Experience delivering and managing large and/or complex projects
Understanding of project financial tracking, including monitoring and reporting budget expenditures
Experience in negotiations, managing conflict, and organizational/political savvy
Verbal and written communication skills and meeting facilitation skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans
Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines
Ability to influence stakeholders and leaders and manage in a matrix organization
Structured, organized, methodical execution and accountability for outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted relationships
Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception through maintenance
Deep understanding of HCSC delivery models: OWF, Scrum, XP
Regular in-person attendance at the designated facility of the job posting
PMP certification preferred
Healthcare acumen and HCSC experience preferred
Knowledge of Clarity PPM and Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project preferred
Experience supporting Medicare Advantage Stars programs and performance improvement initiatives preferred
Knowledge of CMS Medicare Stars measures, regulations, and Star Ratings strategies preferred
Experience partnering with clinical, pharmacy, provider, customer experience, and operational stakeholders preferred
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred
