About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support enhancements and new capabilities for an existing critical business application within the Claims portfolio
Perform Systems Analysis for product initiatives
Build a backlog of systems requirements for assignment to developers
Ensure reviews of requirements, design, and code
Help plan SIT and UAT testing and releases
Work closely with business analysts, business owners, QA, architects, developers, product managers, project managers, and other IT team members
Support application operations by addressing operational, production, and ad-hoc requests
Apply current and emerging technologies to business application solutions, integrations, and data movement
Create detailed designs and resolutions for operational and production incident support within tight timeframes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience
Knowledge of application configuration
Knowledge or experience of Claims processing and Components
Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP/ Autonomy / Vertica
Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies
Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco/Informatica/CAS
Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5
Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY
Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST
