About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions by integrating technical and business requirements
Serve as technical designer to identify optimal solutions and produce technical specifications within the code environment
Link business analyst needs and architect definitions to technical solutions
Lead and support high-profile Utilization Management and Care Management initiatives
Translate complex business and operational requirements into scalable technology solutions
Apply healthcare interoperability standards and frameworks such as FHIR and Da Vinci
Collaborate with external vendor partners and cross-functional teams, including engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
Support production operations and manage user incidents
Participate in technical bridge calls
Support scheduled after-hours and weekend maintenance activities to ensure system stability and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 years Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience
Knowledge of application configuration
Knowledge of Big Data Analytics, including HAVeN, HADOOP, Autonomy, and Vertica
Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS technologies
Knowledge of integration technologies, including Tibco, Informatica, and CAS
Knowledge of mobile technologies, including PhoneGap, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5
Knowledge of scripting languages, including BASH, Perl, Python, and Ruby
Service-Oriented Architecture, including SOAP and REST
Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#
Rapid prototyping
