About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the organization and execution of general legal advisory activities
- Draft and propose guidelines and policies
- Carry out administrative procedures
- Draft, review, and monitor contracts, amendments, and contractual changes
- Monitor litigation matters to protect the organization’s interests
- Provide legal advisory support and participate in matters related to privacy and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams regarding legal risk and commercial negotiations, under supervision
- Complete privacy forms and monitor and execute matters related to LGPD and privacy
- Organize and control legal contracts, proceedings, and workflows
- Advise various areas of the organization on legal matters
- Monitor the activities of external law firms and ongoing cases
- Support legal proceedings and contribute to the review of court filings
- Monitor legislative changes and ongoing proceedings, analyzing and communicating risks
- Respond to inquiries from departments and managers, issuing legal opinions and conclusive reports
- Monitor publication deadlines in the Official Gazette and procedural updates online
- Maintain relationships with public and private entities, labor unions, and professional associations
- Study legislation, particularly data protection laws
- Draft and review legal opinions and preventive studies to reduce litigation
- Perform other duties inherent to the position or assigned by the immediate supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- 1–2 years of experience in related activities
