About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in developing, implementing, and deploying artificial intelligence models and systems under close supervision
Build AI applications for natural language processing, generative AI solutions, and predictive analytics
Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms
Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets for AI model training
Select appropriate machine learning algorithms
Integrate AI models into existing systems or develop new systems for AI solution deployment
Optimize AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Research current AI and machine learning developments and apply them to projects
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders
Create documentation for AI models, processes, and systems
Deploy AI models into production and monitor performance
Address ethical considerations, potential bias, and fairness in AI models
Work under the mentorship and supervision of the VP, Program Performance & Analytics and/or AVP, Product Analytics and Business Strategy, or delegate

Requirements

What you’ll need

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university; preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Administration, Management, or IT
Experience working with Gen AI/ML models and developing APIs, SDKs, and applications that utilize AI/ML is a plus, but not required
Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)-based solutions is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated experience with NLP techniques, Prompt Engineering, and a strong understanding of LLMs is a plus, but not required
Strong programming skills in Python
Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of ethical considerations in AI
Candidates must provide their own reliable, high-speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job functions
Travel to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required
