About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members
- Teach programs such as dance, Zumba, and salsa
- Work 1–10 hours per week at client sites throughout Rhode Island
- Lead part-time and flexible substitute/fill-in classes
- Help participants feel stronger, healthier, and happier
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or another NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required
- 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish
