About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children while their parents enjoy the facility
  • Provide safe and fun play with children who are in the facility
  • Greet and interact with parents and follow up on the needs of the child
  • Plan activities and assist with stimulating and age-appropriate games and tasks
  • Observe and play with children
  • Ensure children are safe and engaged in developmental activities
  • Participate in children’s activities including reading, painting, crafts, and play
  • Sanitize toys and play equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Child/Infant CPR/AED/first aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge and experience with young children is strongly preferred
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Ability to multi-task as well as work quickly and accurately
  • Computer proficiency including at minimum Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Flu vaccination required during Fall season
