About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives and develop strategic advertising solutions across Hearst Magazines' brands and products
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and external partners on RFP development, pre-sale strategy, and customized advertising programs
- Build media plans that achieve client KPIs, maximize revenue opportunities, maintain profitability, and align with business guidelines
- Manage campaign execution from sale through launch across media plans, insertion orders, order management systems, and client requirements
- Lead campaign kickoffs, coordinate timelines, manage creative assets, and communicate campaign objectives to post-sale teams
- Monitor campaign delivery and performance and implement optimizations and process revisions
- Analyze campaign results, contribute to wrap reports, identify renewal and upsell opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations
- Serve as a trusted advisor for assigned accounts and identify opportunities to improve workflows and client experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in media planning, advertising strategy, account management, or a related client-facing advertising role
- Strong understanding of digital advertising products, campaign planning, and the advertising sales lifecycle
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to think strategically, solve problems proactively, and deliver outstanding client service
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Research, Campaign Management, and other business partners
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- Hybrid role based in Los Angeles, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week
